Month in Review
“But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint” (Isaiah 40:31). What a great reminder that even when language school and culture adjustment can get discouraging, the Lord will give us the strength we need as we rely on Him. We have enjoyed the opportunities to get to learn and practice our Spanish. Robert has been able to help with outreach at another church in the city, and we have all enjoyed getting to be involved in outreach and youth meeting at Iglesia Bautista Victoria. Easter Sunday was special as we got to watch 11 people get baptized.
Praise and Prayer Request
In our last letter, we asked for prayer to be able to get our visas extended. We praise the Lord that we were able to get them extended for another 3 months! Our prayer request now is that we would be able to get the housing certificate we need to be able to start on our residency paperwork. Thankfully, it seems that we will be able to get it in the next couple weeks.
