Month in Review
Please be praying for all of those in Galvez who received a Gospel track or who we were able to talk or text with. As we have been talking with people, we have realized that there has not been a true Gospel witness in the city for many years. It is taking more patience than we first thought as we work to break up the hard ground of unbelief and false religious ideas. In May, we finished up a sermon series over the core values of the church on Sundays, as well as continued our study of characters of the Bible on Wednesday nights. We passed out many more tracts and talked with many people this month. Emma got to teach at a women’s meeting at Victory Baptist Church. We celebrated our wedding anniversary in May and are extremely grateful to the Lord for 9 wonderful years together!
Please pray for us that the Lord would give us wisdom as we continue to think of ways to reach people in the community and bring them into the church. Please pray that we would be faithful to do what we need to do, and trust God with the results for His glory not ours. We are excited for what the Lord is doing in our hearts and what He will do in the future.
Prayer Requests
Some prayer requests for the next few weeks are:
- Handing out tracts for the church plant
- For the Gospel to take root in our city
- Growth of the church
- Wisdom and energy to accomplish the work
