June 19-23. This was the week I went to camp to help challenge young people to surrender to missions and to what God would have them to do in their lives. This week my main job was to help the young people see what their part is in world evangelism, I also helped to run the sound equipment during the services and breakout sessions. I was able to preach on Wednesday and I preached about how we need to not let fear stop us from doing what God has told us to do. I shared my story about how God used camp to get me off the couch and into training to be a missionary. I talked about Joshua 1:9, “Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.” I challenge them to not let fear stop them from following what God had for them to do. I told them that I was once afraid of obeying God but when I took that step of faith I had the time of my life serving Jesus. In all it was an amazing week; 6 teens accepted Christ as their Savior and 9 surrendered their lives to serve Him in full-time missions.
