I was born into a Christian home to parents who taught me about the Lord. I knew about Jesus dying and rising from the dead. When I was 6, my little sister and I got into an argument about people going to heaven. My parents heard our argument and told us they would explain it to us that evening. They told us about salvation and how it is a personal choice. That night I accepted Christ as my personal Savior. I knew I had been saved but I still had the fear that I was not good enough. My senior year of high school I finally realized that I did not have anything to do with my salvation but that Christ had paid it all and that because I had accepted it I was His child. I began to develop a desire to serve the Lord which grew when I came to Vision Baptist Church. I left for college at Pensacola Christian College to get a degree. After a year and a half of college, I attended the Our Generation Summit and there on January 2, 2015, I surrendered to overseas missions. The Lord led me to finish my degree and I returned to college. That next summer I met Robert who was a student at the Our Generation Training Center, and we started dating the following winter. A year later we got engaged and married soon after my graduation from PCC in May 2017. The Lord really grew us and prepared us during our long-distance relationship as we prepare for the ministry God called us to.
