Weekly Update

8/13-21/2017

This week we had a class on culture Shock taught by missionary Eric Elrod. This was a very good class to help us understand and to take a good look at culture shock so that when we get to the field we will be better prepared to handle it. We used the book was Culture shock by MYROK LOSS.

Then on Sunday, I had the opportunity to teach in Sunday School. I taught the kids about Mark 5:21-43 about Jairus and how he went to Jesus to ask Him to heal his daughter, as well as how the woman who had the issue of Blood for twelve years went to Jesus to be healed. I told them how both of these people had great faith and that they did not let fear or other people stop them from acting upon their faith. And how the kids should do the same both have faith in Jesus and have great faith that causes them to move and do great things for God.
