I Have a Dream

What do you want to do with your life?

“If your dreams do not scare you, they are not big enough.”

― Ellen Johnson Sirleaf

I ask you what are you dreaming? What is it that you want to accomplish with your life? I was in Peru and while I was there I saw something that I want; not because I want to be great but because I want God to be glorified in it. You see, I want to go to a foreign country and start churches that start churches, as well as start a training center to train more pastors and missionaries. I want the churches that are started to give to missions to help reach this world with the gospel of Jesus Christ. I am not talking about just a few churches. I want to see hundreds if not thousands of churches started by the men that God allows me to help train. Now you might say, “Wow, someone is dreaming big,” and I would say, ‘Yes, but it is not so I look good, but so God looks good. In the Word of God, I see a young shepherd who took down a giant with God.  dg-696x418I see 3 men who told the king, “We will not bow down and worship the idol,” and into the fiery furnace they went. Out they came unharmed. Why? Because of the God they served. I see a young girl who had never been with a man give birth to the Savior of the world. Why? Because our God is a great God who does the impossible so people will see that the only way for those things to have happened is by His awesome power. You see God will use people to show Himself Mighty to the world. That is why I dream big because I believe God can and will do big things to show Himself great through my life. I dream of training men for the glory of God, I dream of starting churches for the glory of God, and I dream of living a life that honors my heavenly Father so that the world will see Him and turn to Him. What do you dream of doing for our great God? He wants to show Himself great and mighty in your life and to this world through you. I dream of doing big things because of the God I serve, not because of who I am.
