Province of the Week
Río Negro is another province that makes up Argentine Patagonia located in the south-central part of the country. This province stretches from the Atlantic Ocean all the way to the Andes Mountains bordering Chile. The first European to visit the province was famous explorer Ferdinand Magellan in 1520. This province can get very cold and windy. The largest city is Bariloche with 108,000, but the capital is Viedma with 47,000 people. Viedma was the first settlement in Patagonia. Currently, we know of one missionary family on their way to minister in this province. Please pray for them as they will arrive there shortly.
Week in Review
This past week we enjoyed being in three different states for our meetings (Indiana, Ohio, and Kentucky), driving 1100 miles from Wednesday to Monday. We are so thankful for the opportunity that God gives us to use His Word to minister to people. I ask you to pray for us that we would understand the Bible better and always use it for the “edifying” of those we meet. Also, we are praising the Lord for providing another partner in the ministry to get the Gospel to Argentina.
For His Glory
