Wow! Another year is coming to an end. This was an exciting year for both
of us, and our first Christmas as a married couple.
As we head into the Christmas season, we want to remember the real reason
we celebrate Christmas. Jesus Christ, God’s only Son, came to earth as a
humble baby born in a stable to later die on a cross for the sins of the whole
world. Christmas is a reminder of the gift of forgiveness. A gift for anyone
who is willing to admit their need for a Savior and accept His forgiveness
(Luke 2:11).
After a year and a half of courting, we were married May 27, just 17 days
after Emma graduated from Pensacola Christian College. Shortly after, we
had the opportunity to serve at two weeks of camp with our church. The
week after, we went up to Ohio to visit with Robert’s family, and his mom
had a reception for us. On arriving back in Georgia, we moved into an
adorable rental house (450 sq.ft.) and began working. Then we were blessed
with tickets to go on a short missions trip to Peru with our pastor and his
wife in October. We have been working hard since September to raise the
funds for our internship to Argentina!
We are so thankful for the many blessings that God has given us this year
from getting married to being able to serve together in the ministry, and for
many of you who have been a blessing to us in giving to help us go on our
internship that God will bless us through next year in Argentina. Please be
praying as we are still in need of 30% of our support for our internship.
